Where Curiosity Meets Culture
For ten years, Lightning Society was a scrappy, communal creative hub based in Brooklyn. In 2024 they acquired a new home base - a historic SoHo building, signaling that the community had grown up. We took that cue and ran with it, drawing inspiration from the Bauhaus movement to build a brand system rooted in education, craft, and the fine arts. Less warehouse party. More living museum.
We evolved their identity to resonate with Manhattan's most discerning crowd, without erasing what made 15,000 people show up in Brooklyn for ten years.
The result was a fresh take on a members club. While most clubs trade on the allure of who's in the room, Lightning Society was built on something harder to manufacture: a genuine culture of arts, ideas, and thought leadership. No see-and-be-seen theater. Just the kind of space where creativity and conversation are the main event.
Our job was simply to shine a light on the creative culture that had always been there, and make sure it survived the move across the bridge.
