The kind of firm that doesn't need to announce its credibility - it just has it.
Kalos Ventures is a venture capital firm with a sharp thesis and an impressive team but previously had a brand that was underselling both.
While most VC firms talk about themselves - their networks, their track record, their value-add - Kalos wanted to do the opposite. They wanted to put the founders front and center to let the quality of who they back speak louder than any self-promotional copy.
The rebrand needed to be understated and quietly confident. The new logo we designed drew on the geometry of a kaleidoscope with overlapping curves that represent a shift in perspective. The symbol is of clarity emerging from complexity.
We rewrote the website copy to clearly define their niche: they invest early and lead rounds in companies at the intersection of AI, automation, and demographic change, across workforce, care, and education. The language is specific and direct, without the jargon that clogs most VC websites.
The result was a brand ready for a big moment. In May 2026, Kalos publicly announced a $78.8M oversubscribed inaugural fund backed by Pivotal Ventures, MassMutual, GCM Grosvenor, and Sorenson Impact Advisory and welcomed three new team members.
